| Founded in 1995, Of The Earth was born of two people who met, fell in love and decided they did not want to spend their working lives apart. As their wedding approached, Lori decided to put her Fiber Arts degree to work and enlisted Kevin's help in creating the paper for their invitations. After a summer full of paper pulp and flower petals the couple realized that they could work together and more importantly, that they enjoyed working together. As the response cards came pouring in, most covered with handwritten notes of admiration, Lori and Kevin realized that they had the perfect opportunity to pursue their future together. Within two weeks of returning from their honeymoon, they had a business license in hand and a business plan to write. As they say, the rest is history. They are now serving all of North America from a 3,000 sq. ft. artist's loft in the historic Bemis Building. | |||||||||||
